The Coboconk and Area Food Bank works with community members (both year round and seasonal), and local businesses and organizations to gather, store, and distribute foodstuffs and personal needs items without charge, to those in need. In addition, it strives to inform and educate the community about the issue of hunger in the area and to ensure that all clients are treated with respect and dignity.
The Coboconk Food Bank is a registered charity, governed by a Board of Directors and operated solely by volunteers. Its operation is dependent on contributions from individuals and organizations in the form of volunteer hours, food items and financial support.
CAFB is moving on May 15th to Buck and Up Closeouts beside Foodland in Coboconk.
